The Neopets Toolbar
For all of you Neopians wondering 'What the heck is the Neopets
ToolBar?' then keep reading!
The Neopets Toolbar is, well, a toolbar. You can teleport to your
favorite places, including Jelly World! Also, you can click on the
GAMES button. It takes you directly to the Games Room, no matter
what website you're at! The Neo E-mail is a little program where you
make an e-mail adress ma de by Neopets. NeoMail is just a little
link that takes you to your NeoMail home if you have an account for
Neopets. If you don't, I suggest that you make one today! There is
also a favorites button. It lets you look at your favorite pages at
Neopets.com. Also, there is a link that lets you go to Frequently
Visited Sites. I like to call it FVS. There is also a shopping
button, but I don't think you'd like to go on that because it takes
you to Shopping.com. And last but CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, the alert
button. When it flashes yellow, that means that Tarla, the
Shopkeeper for the Shop of Mystery, gives out a free prize! It's
called Tarla's Toolbar Treasures, and it is AWESOME!
The NC Mall
Recently, the NC Mall opened up. If you were wondering what is is,
then you are reading the right stuff! The NC Mall is a little- Well,
big mall that you can buy exclusive stuff for your Neopet to wear.
There are backgrounds, shirts, p ants, shoes, superpacks (convenient
little packs so you don't have to go searching around for costumes),
thought bubbles, faerie dolls, and side items. But the stuff there
isn't bought with NeoPoints, it is bought with NeoCash. Keep reading
to find out what NeoCash is.
NeoCash
NeoCash is, well, Neopets Cash! It can only be used at the NC Mall,
and you have to buy them. They are usually expensive, 1000 NeoCash
is $10, and 2500 NeoCash is $25, but it is totally worth it!( you
buy the NeoCash cards at Target) There is also another way to get
NeoCash. And you can get it for free! You play this game called
Quasalan Expel, (it is in the luck and chance games) and if you are
really, really lucky, you can win NeoCash. I don't know how much
NeoCash you win, because I didn't win yet, so all I know is that you
can win NeoCash from it. If you don't win the NeoCash, you can still
win a present, some NeoPoints, or you just lose. You can only play
the game once a day, so cross your fingers when you try it out!
So far, all of these tips were new and made by Neopets 2.0. And so
is this one. *cough* Around the early days of 2007, the clothing
shop was just for crazy people who collected clothes for their
gallery or whatever. And dung was just smelly stuff you found on the
ground in Tyrannia. But now, since the NC Mall is here, you can
actually dress up your Neopets! You just go to your inventory, look
for items that say 'wearable', select ' put in closet', and select
Customize your Neopets! Sure it sounds complicated, but it's easier
than you may think. When you get to your closet, click on a piece of
clothing and click the button that says Apply. Then, your Neopet
isn't in it's Birthday Suit anymore! *cough* Also, if you make a new
account, you get a Newbie Pack. In the Newbie Pack there is food,
toys, a book, a Battledome item, and an Ultra Fashionable Potato
Sack. Just put that in your closet and stick it on!
Customizing your NeoHome
If you're a Newbie, and you're wondering what a NeoHome is, then
you're at the right website. If you are REALLY new, like you just
signed up today, you might need to wait to make a NeoHome. But after
you're at least 12 hours old, go to Neopia Central (click explore,
it's the picture that's a burger) and click NeoHomes. Click Manage
Rooms and Gardens, and click on a little patch of land. Then choose
to build a garden or a room. It takes 6-12 hours to make a room, so
you might have to wait overnight. When you go to Neopia Central
again, click on NeoHomes again. Click on Manage Rooms And Gardens
and look at your new NeoHome! It costs a little money though, so you
should get a lot before you make a NeoHome.
My Tips for getting NeoPoints
Easy ways to get Neopoints
1. Play ALL the wheels as often as possible.
2. Make a shop and put some of your useless junk in it. That almost
ALWAYS gets you Neopoints.
3.Avoid the Lever of Doom at the Space Station. I cannot stress this
enough!
4.If you have a lot of Neopoints already, keep them at the Neopian
Bank. Only withdraw as much as necessary.
5.If you are running low on Neopoints(300-900 NP), go to the Poogle
Races at Faerie Land. Bet for 300 NP on what you think is the best
Poogle (I always choose Number Two, he's lucky) and wait until the
race starts. If you won, Ding ding ding you have Neopoints!
6.Enter the Caption Competition! It's free and it's fun! And if you
win, you get 5,000-10,000 NP (depending if you win or not) a rare
item and a trophy! You'll be set for about 2 months if you use the
money wisely!
Thanks:
